Pinky C. Abanes is both an IT and HR professional. After working for 3 years as programmer and sales executive to a couple of IT companies, she co-founded the software development company, ACLT Computing Incorporated in 1994, and has been its Sales & Marketing Director and Chief Operating Officer for the last 23 years. She co-design and co-develop the pioneering HRIS business solution in the country. Being one of the top management team, she also performs for the company clients Project Management and Implementation Consulting for HRIS automation from 201 records, time and attendance, to payroll and strategic HR solutions. As an HR advocate, she is an active member of People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) since 2003, and hold key positions and committee chairmanships since then. In 2016, she was the chairperson of the Chapters Committee coordinating 26 PMAP chapters nationwide. She is also a member of the PMAP Foundation. She participated in the KMME Program as HR Mentor for the Region IV-A Pilot Program in 2016. She did also KMME Program for HR in Laguna and Marinduque in 2017, and Tacloban, Ormoc, Baybay, Camarines Norte, and Romblon in 2018.

Pinky is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in the University of the Philippines, Los Banos in 1991. Following the call of entrepreneurship, she left employment and took up Master in Business Administration in College of Business Administration in University of the Philippines, Diliman and graduated in 1995. Together with a few friends, she created a software development company in 1994, a year before MBA graduation. In her interest to develop higher competency in human resource management, she took up her second graduate studies, Master in Industrial Relations at School of Labor and Industrial Relations, University of the Philippines, Diliman and graduated in 2003.

She’s currently taking her Doctorate Degree in Public Administration in National College for Public Administration and Governance in the University of the Philippines, Diliman.

Pinky is a member of MBA Alumni Association of the UP College of Business Administration, Philippine Industrial Relations Society, Philippine Society of Public Administrators, and Oro Chamber of Commerce in Cagayan de Oro City. Pinky is married with two children and a native of Balingasag, Misamis Oriental.
